I'm getting my windows tinted on Monday and I'm just wondering of anyone else has any ideas as to what level of tint to get. My run is laser blue.

 

35% up front and 15% in the back is the law In Florida. I would go 15% ask the way around. I plan on going darker up front myself.

This is correct! The person who had the MINI before me had 35% all around, I hated it. Had it retinted with 5% all around. 15% all around would be recommend for someone who doesn't want to be completely illegal.

 

20% all around or 15% all around.

 

My brother got pulled over by FHP for his 20% on his MINI. He took it off and went legal. They told him they couldn't see his seatbelt for his tint.

 

35% is law in TN... I'm running 15% all the way around. I think it's a perfect amount. My old truck was 5% atw around (came like that), and only sucked at night trying to back out of places.

Stay off 75 heading to Naples then. The same FHP is parked there every day. Of course my brother works in Naples and drives it daily and had seen this same officer for about a year. Then he finally got him, and the officer told him he had noticed the car long before then.

 

I would tint it whatever you want and just be prepared that you might get pulled over. Might as in the possibility is very very low. I had a friend who had 5% all the way around on his truck for 4 or 5 years and not once did he ever get pulled over. Granted he did pull out in front of someone and got hit one night. So i would not suggest going that dark.
