Lowered Rides Check Your A/C Coolant Line
My 07 R56 A/C suddenly stopped working after I heard what sounded like a flat tire. So I jacked the car up and put the front wheels on some rhino ramps. I noticed that the passenger side axle was rubbing against the A/C coolant hose.
It's part number 3 on this link :http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...40&hg=64&fg=60
I jacked up the passenger side, removed the wheel, and some portions of the fender liner to access the lower side. To get to the higher side of the hose, just remove your airbox, and also sound generator.

I noticed that mine was wearing, and I'm only on TSW springs. A couple of zip ties has it tucked up out of the way. You can see if there is a shiny or worn spot on the axle when you have the wheel off, the line is hidden unless you know where to look.

I'm kind of surprised that this is just now coming up. I thought I had just missed this info somewhere. Check out the driver side too. I notice that the axle was kind of close to the clutch hydraulic line. I have no idea how much I lowered my car. I just set it up where I thought that I liked it.
