I bought the care yesterday with 44K miles, 2 problems. My hatch open light and light going out light are both coming on and off. Does the indicate a bigger problem, or probably not just an unlucky fluke. Still warrantied, so I will take it back to Carmax and have them fix the issues, just wanted to know what ya'lls thoughts were. Appreciate any input.

 

Presumably, this issue has been resolved by now since the posting was in mid March. However, in case it hasn't, the problem could be minor or major. Your second sentence was not clear. My assumption is that some of your interior lights are not working properly.

Since it's under warranty, you should have the technicians look at it. CarMax may not be the best place for issues like this. Their warranty extends to cover an authorized Mini dealer as well. You do get ding'd on a $50 deductible, but they probably have a lot more experience in this area. I say this because you posted in the Cabriolet section of the site; the flickering lights could be a result of water damage at some point. They would have more experience as to where to look first.
