Weathertech Digital Fit Floor Liners and Boot Mat

Does anybody have any recent experience with their products? When I go to the Weathertech website, and I put in 2013 Cooper S, they come up with no available products, but when I select "hardtop" there are floor mats available. There is only a trunk liner available if I select 2011 Cooper S. Is this just an error on their site? Have there been any interior changes between 2011 and 2013 that would make these products any different? Just curious, as I'd like to put together an order, but don't want to wind up with the wrong items. Any help is appreciated!

I ordered my Weathertech mats from Amazon, and they fit my 2013 Cooper S fine. I hope the link below works for you, if not just search Amazon for Weathertech Custom Fit Front Floorliner for Mini Cooper. The description didn't say they'd fit a 2013, but at least one of the customer reviews mentioned it.

For the boot, I ordered the OEM Boot Trunk Mat. The description on Amazon said it's for the 2007 - 2012, but I figured that was close enough. Turns out it fits perfectly.

Boot mat:

All Cooper S hatchbacks 2007-2013 share the R56 chassis, and there haven't been any significant changes in floor mats so those will fit fine, but I can't recommend the digital fit liners 100%.

I've had the weather tech digital fit floor liners (front and rear) for almost two years now. While they are durable and will last for years, I don't really like how the front floor liners fit. The edges of the liner tend to curl slightly inward, I wish they were firmer and maintained their shape better. If you need the benefits of digital fit liners then go for it, but if I was to do it again I'd get the regular weather tech liners since they don't have those lips on the edges that look pretty unsightly to me once installed. If they looked like the way they look in the sample pictures I'd be 100% happy.

Anyway they're very purposeful and keep the car clean but they could be firmer and deform a lot less.

Does anybody have any experience with the Mini branded all weather floor liners? They look similar to the weathertech digital fit, except the pattern is slightly different and they have the MINI logo on them. They're similar in price, so I'm not sure which ones to buy. I just don't want to keep getting the carpet in my car wet, as the rain / snow doesn't seem to stop in the northeast.

I bought my MINI Branded weather Tech floor mats last year with ECS. I have run them all winter long (and what a long winter it was!) and am extremely please with how they performed. I hadn't claned them out all winter and they are holding a ton of dirt and sand! I'm certain the regular rubber floor mats would not have done so well since they do not have the wall/lip around the entire mat. I can't imagine trying to vaccum the regular floor mats and getting all the sand and dirt out. Do yourself a favor and get these mats. You'll be glad you did.

So are the MINI mats actually made by weathertech?

I had an issue with the edges curling slightly from the sides (on my truck), and just used a heat gun at a low setting to bend the edge out at the upward bend to provide a snug fit.

As an alternative if it bugs you, you can easily trim the sides off with a straightedge and utility knife.

Maybe? Not entirely sure on that. My intention behind my wording was to describe the style of floor mat. But they might as well be made by weather tech if they're not already.

I'll try a heat gun the next time I wash them, thanks for the tip.

Goto shopminiusa.com pick your year and model then search for "all weather" floor mats. Not sure who makes the factory mats.

Yes, I've had both... Pretty sure the Mini mats are made in the US (WT).

Both fit fine, however I found the WT mats to have inaccurate mount locations on the passenger side. Mats protected fine. The mount issue was not a problem since they have such a snug fit on the sides and front.

The Mini mats fit slightly better around the gas pedal. I got the WT mats when I got my car.. But later got the Mini mats as a gift. Kept the Mini ones and sold the WT mats.

I have the MINI ones bought from the dealer, only the front as it's a Roadster. They fit fine, and with the little wall around the side they contain all the snow melt, etc. I haven't taken them out this year, but last year there was nothing on the actual carpet. Very happy.

I picked up the MINI mats today....the dealer told me they are made by WT....they fit perfectly and I wound up getting 15% off so they wound up being less expensive than the WT mats. Shocking that I could buy a genuine MINI / BMW accessory cheaper than the third party equivalent!
