hello all,

i need a little help. i need pictures of a Indi Blue Mini with Black bonnet strips, and also a picture of a Dark Silver Mini with Black bonnet stripes. right now i am getting an all Indi Blue MCS, but since i get the strips in the sport package if i wan them, i want to make sure that i see all the possibilities before i commit. so if anyone knows where i can find pictures i would really appreciate it. i'm on page 65 of 89 in the Owner's Gallery, and i havn't seen either.

You could also try looking at the Dream Cars Gallery (under the Gallery feature)....those are Minis done with the configurator such as this one:

Someone just posted pix of an IB with black stripes, yesterday or the day before... can't remember who! But it's there somewhere...

Hmmm, something's not quite right with the way the bonnnet stripes follow the hood line on the configurator.

my other question is, are the stripes removeable? if i order my car with them on, can i take them off if i don't like them?

so, what do y'all think? Solid Indi Blue, IB w/Black Stripes, or DS w/Black Stripes ? which is best?

 

I love the look of the black stripes on my LY/B MCS. I imagine they could be removed if you really want to, since I believe they are vinyl.

Of the combos you mentioned, I personally prefer the IB with a black roof and black bonnet stripes.

i got those pics. thatnks alot. they were very helpful. the only thing is that the Indi Blue looks lighter than it does in person. but those pictures helped me with vizualization. so now i'm pretty much straddling the fence. i did want all Indi blue, but now i can't decide between IB w/stripes, or DS w/ stripes. what a problem to have!! thanks for taking the time, Agro. much appreciated.

(yellow with black looks totally BA. i would get that if i wasn't so reserved, ha!)

 

The stripes are just vinyl, so they are removable.
