Water Pipe

Ive been having a coolant leak for a month or so and have to fill the coolant every 2 or 3 weeks. I was told that my water pipe has crack by the water pump. What is the easiest way to access the water pipe so I can change it out myself?

Hello ACTE,

Check to make sure its the water pipe and not the seals between or the water pump ( passenger side ) or the thermostat housing ( driver side ). The water pipe connects between the two and the thermostat housing will have to come out to access it behind / under the intake manifold.

Here is the thread for the water pump and the thermostat housing leaks and locations/ install.

Thanks and hope that helps. That will give you a list of items to check out and make sure its the water pipe / water tube.
