I'm also in NJ but am new to Minis but do remember from my VW days that R&A in Lyndhurst used to tune all sorts of European models including BMWs so I would guess that might include Minis.

I've had work done by the Tyrol-Sport guy over 10 years ago when he was still working out of his house. He's very good and knowledgeable. He installed a set of Bilstein HD's and SHINE Sport springs in my GTi with hand tools and I didnt even wind up needing an alignment. In fact, that suspension lasted me from 2001-2012 and all I had to do was replace tires when they wore out normally, never needing any adjustments. He's good, but it's a bit of a pain getting to Whitestone Queens from NJ.

I remember leaving my house in central NJ at 5am and driving through lower Manhattan to cross into Brooklyn on one of the free bridges and getting there around 630. I had time to do that sort of thing since I was a student back then. LoL

For plug and play devices it depends on the year of your car. What do you have?

JB+ from Burger Motorsports is a great plug and play option. I just installed it last week on my 2011 Cabrio S N 18 and I'm very happy.
