Extremely frustrating that there are no black wheel options when you configure a R55/58/59 w/the JCW Exterior Package. You either get Silver Challenge or Conical wheels.

What if I want to throw some black Challenge or Conical wheels on a Pepper White & Black R58?

Why is this?!?!

 

Actually the JCW offers the challenge cross spoke, (hope I'm saying correctly) wheels as an option.
I have both the black and silver
Silver for my summer performance tires
Black for my winter tires

 

I think they were meaning that there was no option for the black wheel with the JCW package on a MCS.

 

My 2012 R58 JCW came standard with the black challenge wheels, you


had to put on the build sheet if you wanted them in silver. Now that was


in 2012 things might have changed since then.

 

Correct. Not the JCW model, but rather the JCW Exterior Package option.

Gonna have to ask my MA if he knows of any work arounds.

 

The JCW Challenge rims in black are only available on factory JCW, or purchased separately thru the parts department. Not possible on a stock MCS order. Exterior JCW package offers silver rims only.
It's always been that way unfortunately...

 

I assume that is so they "encourage" you into buying the JCW vs just the package. They also limit the red sport stripes option to only those with the ext option or the JCW model.
