Well I just had a nice little jaunt with a new 2014 Civic Si. Big fart can on the rear and other fast and furious stuff hanging on the front and back. Guy kept gunning it at me in town. I smiled and waved and gave a bit back. All in good fun. Not racing or anything. Well that was until he noticed I was turning into the two lanes that pulled onto the freeways onramp. I had the inner lane which has the advantage and is shortest. I figured why not being we are pulling onto the freeway and no other cars. So when the light turned green I went around the 90 degree elbow at a slower rate to give him a chance to get next to me, only he was floored and when it got next to me thats when I noticed he was just flooring it. So now I floored it in second and at third great I got next to him and fourth gear I passed him. Speed limits 65 I was a little over it and then I slowed down and just cruised home with a smile.

I love my Mini.

 

Wait until you get a tune that continues to make power even after 4k RPM. Then your car starts really surprising people on the street.

 

I am not gonna lie, those new Civic Si's look pretty cool, but our MINIs are quicker than those cars IMO.

Glad you left home with a smile:-). I look at my MINI everyday and never get sick of it.
