I am new to the forum and I have spend hours reading a lot of great material on the Mini. I am especially pleased with all the helpful information I am finding about aftermarket products.

I just ordered my 2003 Mini S through Kolon Motors BMW Military Sales here in Seoul Korea last week. Expected delivery is late Feb or early Mar 03. I was back in the USA last July and test drove an S through Northwest Mini in Washington. I was immediately impressed and was ready to buy one on the spot. Unfortunately there was no overseas delivery and the delivery date would have been next Nov or Dec 03.

I am excited and cannot wait to have my Mini S here in Korea.......and I will be the proud owner of the 1st Mini in Korea. I cannot wait for the reactions my wife and I will get cruzin around this wonderful country. Who knows...maybe I will post some pics here of my travels around the pennisula.

BTW my Mini S is Chili Red, black top, black interior, package 1 and 2, Harmon Kardon sound system.

Thanks guys (and gals). Yep...I canot wait till the dealership sends me my chassis number and order number. Then it will be a matter of counting the days.

This is my...er..I mean our retirment present. I retire from the military in June 03.

My wife and I have been visiting the Mini forums and have made a few observations......Mini owners are a great bunchof people, passionate about the uniqueness of owning a Mini, and are Miniholics, Miniacs, etc.

I look forward to meeting with many of you in this forum and sharing the passion of owning a Mini.
