Where to put Stripes for Astro Black 2006 MCS?

I'm thinking of adding the 'viper' stripes in red to my solid Astro Black MCS with no sunroof and need some input. Should I do the stripes on hood and tail gate only or do you think I need them on the roof also?
Appreciate any thoughts.

I've seen Minis with hood and no roof strips. I think it looks pretty good, but to each their own in this case.

If you're really wanting hood and tailgate strips get them, see how it looks, get a good warm and fuzzy feeling inside. If you think something is missing in your life, add the roof strips.

Win win win. :D

I don't know what it is..but stripes on a MINI just seem right.. I got a new 2013 but went with out stripes.. But come summer im getting stripes

I know, when I ordered my Astro Black MCS in 2006 I had it chromed out, then I went to CF (mirrors, tailgate, rear spoiler, M7 scoop & front splitter) ...now I need to change/evolve my Mini again with stripes. the comment about doing hood and hatch with stripes and then deciding if it's missing some on the roof is a great idea. Thanks for the input!
