I've had a strange issue when I am using an iOS device (my iPhone, my old iPod, and either of my iPod Nanos). I have the Y cable, so I connect that way.

Basically, if I'm listening to a playlist and I set it to "Random," every few songs--it could be 3 or 4 OK, it could be a hlaf dozen or more--the track will simply end in mid-track and go to the start of a new track. There seems to be no pattern of when this happens. It can happen on any track, with any sized playlist.

I mentioned it at a dealership once and they said they'd look into it and get back to me, but no word.

If the playlist is set to play in order (not "random"), I do not experience this issue.

I should add that it's only a slightly annoying issue, not a really critical one, because the vast majority of the time I'm listening with an iOS device, it's my iPhone and I'm listening to streaming content, typically either Slacker or MLB. But I would like to know if (a) anyone else has experienced this and (b) if they have, if anyone has founs what causes it and how to fix it.

I have the same issue in my "new to me" 2013 S. Any fixes out there? Oddly, when it is SUPER cold, it happens less!
