Purchased my first mini on 12/22/13. I wasn't able to get started stripping it down until yesterday, 1/1/14.




For all of you that wonder how our cars is put together, to my surprise it is mostly pushpins.

Here are some pics of the build so far. Right now we are doing a lot more taking apart than building. This Saturday it will be sent to miami to our other shop to get new suspension, ECU, BCM, and a roll cage. It will stay in miami until the car is complete and them it will come back to me for painting.
I will try to get pictures as we are working on the car in miami.




Here are the belts and the seat that will eventually be installed.

 

I had a bunch of pictures but I lost my phone and the were the only ones I could recover from my messages. I'll have the car on Wednesday and be able to take some more detailes pictures.

 

We just picked up our new 20ft v nose 50 miles north of us only to turn around and go 150 miles south to pick up the car. The pics are bad quality because it was dark and i and to to use the flash. Ill get some good ones up tomorrow. What do you guys think so far?

 

Nice trailer (at least what I can see in the side-view mirror). So it looks like things are going well for you. Would love to see the pics you have posted but I cannot open them. Perhaps you could re-post some of them? Anyway keep up the good work and keep us posted on any new developments. Eager to see how this project develops!

Looks like its set up for b-spec. Looking good! Do you have any more details on the ECU and BCM? Are those custom pieces?
