R56 Fit 4 Rims with Tires

Have an appointment to mount some new tires on some new rims.
I've been eyeing the trunk and my mind says it will fit, but I have been wrong before trying to should large items back there.

Has anyone or know if 4 Rims with tires can fit in our trunk? I don't want to go to the tire shop and have to make 2 trips.

Yes, use the front seat and foot well too. I did this with 16 wheels and tires.

I was able to fit four 16" wheels mounted with tires in my R56 hardtop with the back seat folded down.

Good to know.. I better bring something to cover the front seat just in case. I rather have all 17's in the rear.

Hmm.. If I have them mount my rims on my car and they reset the TPMS monitor how will the car react? I would have 4 next TMPS on the new Rims and 4 old TPMS in my trunk.

They'll fit with the back seats folded down, two stacked behind the driver, one to the side and one behind I do that all the time getting competition tires mounted. They aren't very safe like that, I wouldn't want to get into an accident with loose wheels in the back like that, so I drive slowly and carefully and its only a couple of miles to the shop.

They also fit on the back seat with the seats up, 4 standing up. The last time I did that I threaded the rear seatbelt through them so they were better restrained. I felt comfortable driving on the freeway like that.
