Sorry if my English is bad!!

Yesterday the trunk door began to open and close constantly ticking, the key was in it but there was no ignition!
I slammed the trunk and tried in vain to open the key will not open! Sometime it opens by itself!
All doors and the fuel cap is normally not open your trunk!
I can only open a latch located under the rear seat!
What happened, somebody help me!
thank you very much!

While you pull the emergency open latch handle under the seat, have someone try to lift up or jiggle the trunk. Sometimes they stick a little.
Here is the diagram for the trunk:

#12 is the grip handle that you pull up on and has the little rubber / button that you press to enact the power latch. I would check to see if water got into the handle. Its a common problem that can corrode and make the rear lock open and close.
See here for the rear grip handle:

#29 & #30 are the handle and cable for the emergency which is under the rear seats.
#8 is the lock itself.
Trunk Lid Lock

Either the lock is jammed or bad. Its located under #2 in the diagram below.
If those do not work you will have to get to the lock itself.

Thanks and let us know how it goes.

Bet ecs got it RIGHT...
Bet the electric switch that is part of the boot handle has failed...it is under the rubber cover you squeeze to open it... Often the rubber cracks, tears, etc. Or water drips in from behind it (when the foam gasket behind the part fails) and the switch gets wet.

I wonder if it happened after washing the car or rain, mine was doing the same thing a while back, I changed the gasket cleaned the connectors and problem fixed.
also as weird as it sounds when I was too lazy to pull the cable I just turned on the parking lights and the boot opened right up LOL I couldn't make this up.
Read this and THANK DixsonL2 for it. very helpful
