Just got the Indi Blue R53 home last week and have already started on the upgrades. This one was simple but desperately needed. The previous owner had painted the rear MINI badge solid/opaque white. Looked terrible. Got a new badge from MINI dealer (last time i will buy anything from a dealer for sure!) and replaced the badge. Looks 1000% better already. Next I'll swap out the radio controller antenna for a stubby and get the CV joint replaced. Fun stuff!

 

Yes, that looks much better, the black inserts fall off after awhile. I replaced my front badge and now I need to replace the rear badge.

 

I doubt they painted it...The black paint on R53s chips off on the rear emblem for some reason...But the new one looks good! I need one.....

 

See.. Thats the way it starts..") Then, after a while, your wife starts to complain that you spend more time with your MINI than her.. That you spend more money on the MINI than her.. It's a spiral.. J/K...
But, you know what i mean.. watch yourself.

Well… I guess i could say "Well now you don't have an excuse ") " but i don't know wether that would be PC..
