Hello Greek,

If you are looking for OEM alloys wheels with 15 x 5.5 they are here: 15" ones are all listed. Under OEM alloys.

http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2005-Cooper-R53-S-Coupe-L4_1.6L_W11B16A/Wheels/OEM_Alloys/

For example: The size and Et are on the second line as well as the R number and tyrp on the first line.

R96 Delta Spoke Wheel 15" (4x100) Silver - Priced Each
15 X 5.5 ET:45

Steel wheels are under here:

Thanks

One nice thing about those R81 7 hole wheels (Holies) is the fact they weigh in at something like 12 pounds each. The pricing ECS has looks pretty good.

R81 7 hole wheels aka "holies" or phone dials if you are taken the lambo side to things are the lightest in the 15" or closet to lightest. I know autocross guys like them.

15 inch MINI steelies I have : 15.05 lbs

16 inch MINI steelies I have : 16.98 lbs

&

R81 Holies : ~ 12.36 lbs

found this guide dont know how true it is but those R81's look appealing because of the weight.

tirerack.com. Use their tools and if you are like me you will see that alloy wheels are actually cheaper than a set of steelies because of the weight of steelies and the shipping cost.

I went with the alloys.

I found a set used also on this very site years ago.

One problem with the cheap alloy wheels from Tire Rack is they are generally very heavy. That is OK if the weight does not matter to you. It did to me, light weight holies FTW!

You can get used alloys from a gen2 owner looking to upgrade...sometimes off a NEW/nearly new car...many base coopers still come on 15', 5.5 width rims...
Then sell off the tires, and TPMS...those will pay for 75% of the tires...then you have a set of OEM 15' alloy rims...for maybe $50-75 total (all 4)...or LESS..
Rims with tires and tpms go for about 300-400$
used tires...4 can sell for $100 or so...
TPMS (depending on the year car they are from) sell new for $90...so sell the used for another $150...especially if from a new car, so the batteries are good...

tip...BUY your snowtires then when they are mounted, the unmounting the tires and switching to rubber valves stems will be free...and you will save the tire disposal fee...

The gen1 hollie rims were once almost free....then folks realized they were LIGHT, strong and great for auto-x...heck some other car owners bore out the centers and use them on Miata's....
