Interior/Exterior Passenger Seat Release
Passenger Seat Release
I drop my daughter off at school each morning, and she rides in a booster in the back seat. I flip the seat forward each morning to let her in, and leave it that way since the passenger seat is such pain to return to the regular position from the drivers seat. If the seat isn't already slid all the way forward before folding it down, it likes to slide back and forth when taking off/braking. This isn't so much of a problem as is the way I have to contort myself into a pretzel shape to reach the release, to flip it back after she gets out. If I don't do this, I can't see my passenger side mirror. Has anyone come up with another option? Right now I have the option of being a part-time contortionist, or getting out and walking around to the passenger side to flip the seat back, making all the other people in line wait longer.
I feel like a doofus.
I'm not sure why I had the impression that the lever needed to be used to push the seat back into it's upright position. I discovered this after coming up with a pretty good cable system in my head to make it work. Wow. I've been wrestling with that stupid lever for 3 weeks now, when all I had to do was push.
