i think you're being alitlle optimistic on the price if you ask me. my car stickeredfor $23,725 with all 3 packages, and H/K with the leatherette. i only have 16,000 miles in 16 months by the way.

 

You obviously have not checked the values on the used market lately. Todays wholesale value on the car is $20,050. Retail is around $24,000+/-.
I just saw an '03 on dealers lot over the weekend at $25,750. I only paid 24+ for the car but the used market is out there it seems, due in part to the demand and the unwillingness for people who want them to wait 3 months for one.
Check all the classified listings and the average'03 MCS is going for 22,500 and up.
My dealer was going to give me wholesale.

The dealer markups on the west coast are inflating used prices even more. There's currently an LA car on autotrader ('03MCS, 3pkgs, etc, no nav) asking $27k!
Value is what somebody will pay, not what you paid for it.
It may take longer, but you'll probably get close to $23K, and more if the right buyer shows up. Good luck!

Thanks for supporting my position.
Used Mini's around here just don't go long without selling. I am only asking
what others seem to be getting. It only makes sense to upgrade if it is only
going to cost me a little vs. a whole bunch.
I was going to keep the car until the warranty was up so we could start playing with the aftermarket engine parts. Oh well, now I will have to wait even longer!!

Just to let you know the website your picts are on don't seem to work with Safari (Apple Browser). Tried to look at them and received a Java error -You need NS 4 or IE 4 to view the images! I was able to view them using IE for the Mac. Nice looking MCS!
