R50/53 performance chip for my mini?

performance chip for my mini?

I have a automatic 06 mini cooper s, looking to add a chip, is unichip a good brand to put in my mini, I'm new to all this minis stuff, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Dont bother. The ecu learns over them. U have a pulley yet? Many other things to do first before the tuning is done.

I have a alta performance intake and should be getting a Alta 19% pulley pretty soon, can I tune it with just these two things? Don't want to void the warranty.

Sounds like you have a lot of research to do to be honest.

Here's the thing,
You shouldnt do a 19% pulley without larger injectors, and even then it gets so hot you lose power. 17 is ok, but you'd need at least 380 injectors to be safe.

And I reckon you may void your warranty if you get a pulley... Depends on who does the pulley install, and who does the warranty work and inspections should something break.

that was a typo yea I meant 17% pulley, thanks for the info.
