I purchased the downpipe and matching exhaust. This is a great combination. The downpipe alone will bolt up to the stock exhaust. This system sounds very throaty opposed to some exhaust systems that sound like a bee can going down the road. My engine temp is much cooler and my exhaust temperature dropped dramatically.
My catalytic converter clogged with oil residue from a leaky turbo with 130K miles on it. This was the reason for the purchase. I was told by a well know rebuilder of the Borg Warner turbo chargers, they only last about 30K. I purchased a rebuilt insert which works very well. They can be found here:
