How to treat my trim?

Bought my mini not too long ago and love the way it looks but need something to fix the way the outer trim looks. Seems to be faded. Has a lot of some what white strips going through it. You can kind of see them in this picture. Any ideas?

DO a quick search of the forums, and you'll see that there are many options when it comes to caring for the black trim. I've used 303 Aerospace Protectant on all 3 of my MINIs and it does a great job. Others suggest Black Wow, while still others suggest going to the shoe section of your favorite store and getting black shoe dye (not polish, but it comes in a similar bottle with a foam applicator).

Kiwi Black Heel & Edge is the stuff you want. Apply liberally to a small section at a time and wipe down with a rag. Lasts a really long time and looks great.

Black Wow

Black Wow is the best. You can order it from Way Motor Works. Nothing seems to do what it can do.

Other cleaning items I use Griots Garage products just Google their website.

I'll second the Kiwi treatment. I recently tried it on my roof line trim and its working pretty good. The Adam's VRT works pretty good too. It last decently, I do like the finish I leaves. I don't know anything about the Black Wow but I've never heard anything bad about it.

We've also found Black Wow to be the best.

Black Wow is the best trim detailed I've ever used and it holds up good. The first treatment my take more time if it's been neglected but after that it takes less, a little goes a long way.
