Is anyone else from Raleigh attending Chris' motor and cookout in June? If so, anyone up for meeting someplace and motoring on up? If so, lemme know and we can figure a time and place to meet!

I can do this. Chris is talking about starting his drive about 1:30. Asheville is about 3 to 3.5 hours from Raleigh, isn't it? I'd think leaving about 9 or 9:30 would get us out there with a little time to spare for some pre-drive socializing. It'll be all interstate, except the last 10 miles or so. Sound about right?

As for a jump off point, I guess any exit on I-40 with a gas station will do. I'd like to tank up before we hit the road.

I just suffered a set back. The person that was supposed to cover for me at the store can't do it. Looks like I won't be able to make it this time. Waugh!!

I would love to participate in this, but I will be travelling back from CO that day.
I will try and catch an earlier flight, I won't know until the last minute though.

Yeah, Keith...Bob and I are working on a place to meet. Right now it looks like we are shooting for 8:30 Saturday morning. When we get a time and place, I'll let you know. Hopefully you can join us!
