Turtle Wax ICE Synthetic Wax

Not sure how long it will last, but did a pretty good job. One nice thing about the synthetic is you CAN wax all the plastic parts on the car. Trim moldings, bumpers, door handles, roof line everything...and no white residue.
Use it sparingly though. I need to buff my hood where I put a tad too much on and couldnt get it all back off.

Roof came out nice

I use this because I can use it in direct sunlight. It works well, I usually do all of the black every couple weeks and the rest once a month or so. And yes, less is more with it.

Actually Zippy...I'm pretty friggin OCD with cleaning my car, I just live in the sunshine state. So I have to contend with that.
I know there's better, but it works.

Lol...
I actually change my oil more than I wash my car....never mind wax my car!!
I found ice to be about as fast as a hand wash, and no white residue!! So to me it is a winner!!

I'd be careful with the trim around the roofline though. I think it kind turned to white crystals on there. It was hard to get off, I just let it wear off actually.

And Zippy, when you quoted me I read it back. It read kind of dickish to me and that wasn't my intention just so you know.

No worries....I'm a bit of an easy going cynic!!
I just laugh sometimes...the best running cars sometimes look the worst and vise-versa!! I am the all GO, and very little SHOW kinda guy!!So when Somebody pokes fun at my dirty car...I just point out I DRIVE it...if I have time to RUB and CARESS something...it's not gonna be my CAR!!!

I just bought this product, I like it, no problem with the black plastic trim. You can apply this product to the entire car.

I use this because it is not petroleum based and does not adversely affect the vinyl wrap on my car..

Yes! It made my slightly aging black viper stripes look good again, and they've stayed that way so far.

I've used it in the past (on a black car).. wear gloves, it will stain your skin.. the advantage is the "powder" from the "wax" is black, so its easy to deal with on a dark car.

Not really. It won't change the color of the car if that's what you mean.
