Has anyone found a roof basket/rack that is more of a flush mount instead of having to use the two rails. Using the rails and then add basket on top of the rails causes the basket to stick up in air far making it actually ugly.

I know the two factory plastic rail mounts that are on roof that run from front of car to back, can be removed by removing the headliner and removing the four bolts from I side tve cab of the car that hold the rails to roof and removing these rails.

Seems that then a roof basket can be added to the roof using the existing hole mounts and longer screws and thus disregarding the stock plastic rail mounts. Making a cleaner more aero dynamic roof basket .
