Is there anyone out there who knows if Brembo produce a rear brake disc + pad package for the Mini. I contacted the guys who put on my front 310mm Big brake kit but he could'nt find out. The reason for the Brembo demand is that I would like to have a 1 make brake package instead of mixing it up with another brand.
So if theres any gurus out there whos in the know, let us know! :smile:

 

I have not heard that they do, but you can buy Powerslot rotors for the rear which are actually Brembo rotors that Powerslot puts their name on....

Tire rack has them.

Brembo have a very decently priced set or rotors for the back, but they never made it a kit because of the issue with the ebrake...I contacted them personally and that's what the NA rep told me...HOWEVER, we are looking into the possibility of replacing the calipers with those of a bigger beemer, like an M3..they might fit, and retain the ebrake, so that you can put bigger rotors and have a bbk at the back...

I haven't done that yet, but will be looking into it before the summer is over :smile:

Has anyone attempted to make some of Bimmer's higher end brakes fit onto their MINI? I can't help but wonder if something like an M3's brakes could be installed for our purposes......

 

mini mania sells Brembo rear rotors, direct replacements for stock, use same brake pads, cross drilled, very nice !
