r56s radiator hose size?

i'm going to be installing a mechanical autometer water temp gauge. they make the adapter to splice right into the coolant hose, but I cant find the size of it. thanks.

The adapter on my R56 Justa, is 32mm (1.26"). That would be inside diameter of the hose. Not sure if the S has a different size.
