Last weekend I was driving home. I was just sitting in the left hand turn lane at a red light and the next thing I can remember someone was asking me if I was Ok. Evidently someone driving a Toyota Tacoma, wandered out of their lane and rear-ended me in my AB r56. UGH!!! I think I walked away from the car (can't remember), but I think this is the end for the car. Have a look!

I was thinking the same thing. That looks like a really brutal hit. Thank goodness you're all right and there was no one in the back seat.

 

How's your body feeling? I remember having a 250 lbs guy ram me from behind during a rugby game(cheap shot) and it felt like a train hit me and I blacked out. I'm happy you walked away from that! That's just scary!

I normally keep my daughter in the front but sometimes do in the back.

 

Wow. That's a heavy hit. Based upon your description, you were concussed. Did you go to the hospital? Having coached collegiate soccer for many years, I know there can be lasting effects of concussions which don't make themselves apparent right away. Be sure to check yourself out.

 

Yea, I am feeling pretty rough around the edges. I do physical therapy for a living so I understand a lot of what is going on, and this is the second major concussion in my life. I thought I would just shake it off but wow more than about two hours sitting without support and my head feels like it weighs a ton! Thanks for all the concern! The insurance adjuster called today from the other driver company and gave me a low ball offer to total the car. I gave him and earful. I love that car, I'll tell him to just fix it then. I found a JCW Clubman not too far away that I'd like(if I can get the insurance to cooperate fast enough!). How many miles are these engines reliable for? I have tried to search and not found much on the topic. BTW, I don't know how fast they were going I haven't seen the report yet. Thanks again for all the concern!
