I know I am looking forward to it. As of the moment I do not have that much info on it. I am interested in learning more about it because this would be my first "East meats West" event. I believe that someone from the Milwaukee MINIs is helping put the event together. Both Matt and Myself have entertained the thought of having this as a club event. Meaning we would drive down for the MINI festivities from the Appleton area.

On a side note...If you are interested in join our email list for our club, you are welcome too. It's free. We sometime do small group events that we don't always post on N.A.M.. Please "PM" for that info and I will send email address and you will be added to our list. Hopefully you will be able to join us for our fall drive.

I think you should make this a club event though I would not be able to go until Friday morning.

 

Looks like fun. Too bad it's not an off year from MINI Takes the States. Might have to choose between them.

ah yes....for me this is more do-able. though i think they are nuts to have it during summerfest.

 

We wouldn't do the whole MTTS. maybe St. Louis to Cleveland. Good point about Summerfest!

 

I plan on going to go down to Milwaukee for the weekend of the event. I have a friend that lives a mile from the host hotel, so I have free lodging. :-)

I'm also looking at doing the Chicago to Cleveland portion of MTTS. On the way home I plan on stopping for a day at Cedar Point, since I haven't been there for a couple years.

 

I went to the Mini Meet East Meets West 2009 in Winona, MN.

Drove all the way from Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada and back in 15 days - a 7000 km (almost 4400 miles) trip.

I was my first Mini/MINI meet. It was pretty good, met some cool people, saw lots of very cool MINIs and sweet classic Minis.

I was a little put off by the cold reception of a very small minority of the classic Mini dudes who were complaining that "their" event was being taken over by the new MINI crew. You know the types... people who are adverse to change. Oh well.

I am now living in Ottawa, so I may attend

Yep we will be doing this event! and I love the idea of Chicago to Cleveland and maybe Cedar Point... for MTTS

 

We're going to do MINI East Meets West, and I think we might go Chicago to Boston for MTTS. Never been to Boston before.

Its still over half a year away, but the website now has a registration page up. At this point, who will be going? And where are those that are planning on staying?

Anyone know if you can show up for just the 4th or the 5th for the car show/ vendors? looking at the events the 4th and 5th would be the days to go but for $155 for 2 people just not sure if all I want to do is those 2 days.
