Dealer Recommendations, SoCal

Will be purchasing a Cooper in mid-October to early November, looking for some input on dealer experiences from you guys... I have visited a few already, but have not been super impressed yet. Really appreciate your insight!

which ones did you visit? I have an 03 S but haven't had to deal with any dealers. The only one close to me is Ontario Mini heard they were an OK dealer but no personal experiece with the service dept.

We have been to Ontario, San Diego and Camarillo... Obviously wanting to get the best deal, but also the best experience... Thanks!

I got my 2006 CPO from Mini of Escondido (aka Brecht Mini) but was never a big fan.

BTW Brecht changed their name after Mini of San Diego opened.

Brecht kept "recommending" additional unnecessary work not covered by the maintenance agreement.

The car now goes to All German Auto, also in Escondido.

I do recommend Brecht Collision for all accident repair work.

My 2012 Roadster S goes to Mini of San Diego, at least until maintenance is on my dime. Overall I prefer Mini of San Diego over Brecht Mini.

For independent shop ALL GERMAN, is great. We use a local shop here in Temecula that is also GREAT.

I am recent mini owner, and just picked up my car from Escondido Today. IMO they are very good. EX: my car is out of warranty by 2k, I am having a problem with Amplifier ground noise. 3rd party warranty company could not reproduce so no fix. SA went out of his way and had mini replace on their dime.

It is nice to go to the dealer for work as they give free mini loaner car in Escondido also. I drove a justa for over a week and a half.

I get your point, everyone might have a different experience.

I have purchased 2 mini's through Mini of San Diego and had great experiences on both accounts! I even took a few friends to get their Mini's. Anytime I go in they great me by name and make me feel like I am family. My service advisor, Anthony rocks, he has always helped me out with any kind of question/concern. The Sales Manager, Matt has been a pleasure to work with.

I like how when you arrive at the lot, they let you look around at the mini's first without on top of you like a vulture.
