You said you used the system ? I really don't want to start a thread in your add to sell something. Can you pm me and let me know what you thought of it and how well it worked or didn't work ? Thanks in advance

Mr Sprint cars from what I've read a piggyback is never going to be as good as a properly developed ECU flash tuned, Evolve should be putting up a price pretty soon and I'd guess the price will be around the $650 mark( do a search Evolve have done a group buy on here before). I emailed them with an enquiry about their suggested tune level for my mods which was level 3 with a Max boost psi of 21. Now with your K04 they may up that if you feel comfortable with that, that did develop a hybrid turbo and a map for that which may suite you better. Just trying to give you an idea of what they could possibly offer you, I feel like were both getting a bit toey as far as getting a tune goes. No disrespect to the seller but feel were both looking for the same thing.

For 90% of the cars out there a piggy back system is amazing. Somewhere one guy said that you have to get a tune to be any good and like everything on the internet it becomes law. "Chips" have been around as long as ecu's have been in cars and people love them.
Yes a dynontune is the best way to go, but for those who can't do that what is wrong with a piggyback system? You call Unichip and tell them how your car is set up and they will build the tune for your car for free.

I have used them on other cars and I personally like it.

lol, come for a ride in my JB4 equipped 335...it'll change your mind :P
my concern with this one is the first gen units had possible issues with the pins, the ecu intercept connections had custom not oem pins that could expand and not make contact(their words) so not sure how this would fare, this one may be a perfect one, not all had the issue from what i read...but Bump and GLWS

I was just wondering what you thought of it and how well it worked. didn't mean to start a thread in the market place section. that's why I asked for a pm. im not spending any money on tunes until theres more than one option I can stare at and make a sound decision.

Someone did a dyno with a UNICHIP and it was virtually the same HP. This piggyback does nothing iirc. The BMS piggyback (JB+) is the way to go if you have an N18.

Thank you for all the comments and interest.
I'm sending it to Unichip to have it setup for my r53. I like it and have had good luck them.

No offense taken on from anyone.
Than you
