Anyone have a set of the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's in Anthracite (or any color for that matter) with the center caps? I understand that they are available from Team Dynamics but I've never seen a pic with them on.

I don't much like the looks of wheels without any center caps. Also, I read somewhere that the lettering that runs around the outer edge of the rim is easily removable. Is this true? Thanks in adavnce.

No pics, but the lettering does come off easily, they are just stickers.

Yes the lettering comes off, I have one with some letters missing.
I have the centercaps on but they are in white.

If you can't see them good I'll get a close up and post it.

Cool! So they do indeed come with a center cap. Thanks ukbyoung.

A close up pic would be great, if it's not too much trouble. Do you think it's easy to throw a Mini logo in the center cap?

Cheers

Here you go:
pro race 1

Sorry their a bit dirty, the center cap say team dynamics. I think a conversion to a MINI would be easy?? The MINI on center caps on the S-lites are slightly larger than that of the other center caps. I plan on doing the conversion when I get time.

BTW: I didn't do the lettering. I let my nephew and he's 5 yrs old. Their off on each wheel but he had fun.

Be aware that the Team Dynamics distribution centers may have a mix of old and new wheels. The old ones do NOT accept caps since they were targetted for racing. The new ones were modded to accept caps. I got two of each and Team Dynamics was very nice about sorting things out. I elected to to just keep my odd lot and forget it. But you might want to double check before you mount and balance.

I've got the TD Monza's. They're very similar to the PR1's. (15 spoke instead of 12). I found when ordering them that there were at least 4 different centercap styles available. These are the ones I ended up with after I modified them with the MINI emblem.
