Hi everyone. Just spent the last couple hrs trying to search for the matter but ended up with a headache. Would someone please direct me or tell me about the following:

I'm wanting to install an aftermarket double din HU on my 2012 R56 with HK system, do I need to bypass the amp or is there a kit I can buy or something else I can do.

I also want to add an amp and subwoofer, would I be able to just tap into the preamp "X9331" plug?

I think I've got the double din setup kind of figured out with maintaining the OEM onboard computer display function, just need to figure which pin ribbon I need to get. Thanks!

 

I'm no expert. But I purchased the Intregral Audio soundstage and sub. I'm in the process of finishing the install. You should look at the install that is on their website. It would give you some good ideas on how to do what you are looking to do. You might also just want to purchase their system.
