Tried to search but can't find answer. I bought seats for my 2006 R50 on fleabay because mine are not good. After purchase, realized that the seats are from an '06 convertible. Crap!

Tried to search but didn't find anything. Does anyone know if these will fit? Only reason I think it might fit is because Minimania has seat rails that fit both 2006 hardtop and convertible.

 

Just to wrap this up in case someone ever searches for it. The R52 seats will fit into the R50, just make sure that the years '05 or '06 are the same between cars since the passenger seat sensor was changed for those years.

Of course, the whole process would have been much simpler if the new to me seat didn't have a broken seat belt tensioner (looked identical so I don't think they were different between cars). I ended up having to take the old one off and installing into the R52 seat (and splicing the connectors). Pain in the butt.

Benefit, now have seats from a car with only 40k miles and no tears/butt creases like my old ones.
