This show allows classic Minis but unfortunately new MINIs are excluded from showing. It is still a very fun show with some crazy & unique cars! I will be there in my classic '68 Mini. Hope to see some of you there.

Well, I saw a few new MINIs there. It was a great show and a lot of fun as I expected. Here is a link to some photos: http://members18.clubphoto.com/richa...ner-4c28.phtml

Cool shots. Dang, should've gone! Those are some cool looking cars. What was the car that the face peeled back to get in?

Very interesting.

I found the show by accident, the Red Classic MINI with Dark Red flames was amazing. The owner was cool to talk to. Just some amazing classic tiny cars.

That Mini was cool. Did you read the story on it? Pretty funny. My Mini was the Red and White Morris Cooper S with the bonnet stripes. I heard a rumor that my car won something but I didn't stick around for the awards. Was that you I talked to in the DS Cooper S?

No, I was the Chili Red MCS parked down by the motel. Your Morris Cooper S was very nice I want to pick up a classic like that.

Oh man, sorry I missed you. I left and went to downtown Long Beach with my girlfriend for a few hours. If you like classics, go to the MOALA meeting next week 5/19 and you will see plenty. If you haven't been to a MOALA meeting, we have several new MINI and several classic Mini owners - probably 150 members in total. About 40 Minis and MINIs show up for the monthly meetings. It's at Me & Ed's Pizza (back room) on Carson and Paramount Blvd. at about 7pm. check it out http://www.moala.org
