Need help or suggestion.

I just brought R60s about 3 weeks ago and also a new member here. So far, I loved the car very much. Moved from RX8 to Countryman is a big change. Anyway, i'm looking at VMR 701 rims for the car. Thinking bout running 18*8.5 ET35 on the stock suspension. just wanna know how far it'll sticking out. i used the offset calculator, its said bout 34mm. and anybody running this setup? any pic would be good.
Thank you in advance.

Several tire and wheel shops show the following options for the R60-

18x8.5" et 42 225/45-18 tire
18x8" et 42 225/45-18 tire

OEM 17 and 18" options
17x7" et 50
18x7.5" et 52

So you should be OK using stock suspension. The wider wheel will stick out about 17mm or 0.7" more than the factory 18x7.5" option. This would be fine.

Note that the wider wheel is also likely heavier than a 18x7.5" wheel of similar design.

The 225/45-18 tire will fit rims from 6.5-8.5" wide.
