R57 Which one of these should I get?
Which one of these should I get?
Hello guys,
I am a soon to be proud owner of a mini cooper convertible. This will be my second car and will be a daily driver and occasional roadtrip fun car for me. always wanted to have a sporty and convertible mini cooper, but the only thing I am concerned about is R57's reliability esp. the S models. From what I read on this forum and elsewhere, it seems like the non-s models are a lot more dependent than the turbocharged S models.
I found three 2009s similarly specd here that are exactly what I am looking for(manual, under 20k, 09+, in my area) so I'd like to get some first hand experience from here. any input regarding turbocharged MCS are appreciated:

this one has the best aesthetics by far IMHO
37,000miles, price is $19000 that wheel is SEXY as hell. I think it is an aftermarket?

this one has 69,000miles that goes for $15,000
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...gIndex=4&Log=0
The last one is only 13,000miles and goes for $19,000
All three should be out of warranty by now... will I save some $$ down the road by sticking with a low mile one? I am certain I can work down the price on the first one, and that is by far the best looking one out of the three
. I would love to hear from some of you long time owners's thoughts on this: which one would you get?
Cheers
