I know it's been posted before but I can't find a refernce to it via search:

Where can I find an insert for the void in front of the stick to hold cell phone, wallet and such?

Beware the "segmented boot box"! This has caused problems with ventilation and noises because it blocks the rear flow-through vents on the inside of the boot, just below the hatch sill.
If you get the box, figure out some way to get air to these vents.

kensmini, thank you for pointing out the boot box blocks the vents. I just got my MCS and the box was immediately placed in the boot. Now I see the problem it could cause. Fortunately the box folds down flat, and in that position does not block the vents. So that will be how mine stays unless I have a need to use it for groceries or whatever.

Thanks for the heads-up kensmini! The wife wants the bootbox to keep things from sliding around and I admit it looks kinda cool, but function over form is my motto. Guess I'll get my Mini and research the air flow before I purchase the bootbox. I could tell her to drive the 4Runner to pick up groceries while I fly around in the "town car"...

Folks: The boot box is a bad design as far as those vents are concerned but a great idea otherwise. If you must have it, I think there's another post thread you can seach for here on MCO which describes some tricks to make it work. One of them, if I remember correctly, involves placing a low shim on the boot floor which keeps the box forward of the vents about a 1/2 inch.
