JCW Countryman Gauges

Do they only come with Chrome surround?

The reason I ask is that I am wanting to change my gauge faces out to black. Since I have the radio boost, aftermarket gauge faces really aren't a choice yet (I may try to take it apart soon and create my own if worse comes to worse). So I am thinking about changing out the instrument clusters. The speedo isn't a big deal since it uses the additional trim piece, the tach however only appears to come in chrome and I would have to change out the whole part unless one of the aftermarket tach faces matches the JCW.

Unfortunately I think that the JCW gauges only come with a chrome tach. However, if you wanted, you could always unscrew the 3 screws on the back and unclip the outer casing and swap it with your original one if you don't want the chrome surround.

Thanks for the advice!

Now I wonder if there might be an aftermarket for different colored trim rings....... ehhhh, i'd never do that anyway.

Recently installed 2 JCW gauges along with the newer dash trim in black eliminating the ugly gray. Relative torque and temp came in black housings. Had planned on swapping the countryman tach for the JCW tach with black face and black face gauges.... But the JCW tach would not program correctly with my countryman... So kept all white faces... But housings are all black

Interesting. I ordered the JCW gauge option on my non-JCW Countryman S and the housing is all black. No chrome at all.

You have a choice of either black or white face..... Both in black matte housings

The JCW dark face. Not one iota of chrome. I didn't have a choice of dark or light, but dark is what I wanted anyway.
