Install VIP Driving Lights to Fogs instead of High Beams

So I purchased the VIP Driving lights, and have read on here that some of you have hooked them up to the fogs rather than the high beams.

I'm assuming if I hook into the fogs (which is how I want it anyway), that I can just use the exiting fog light in the car and not have to run the included switch through the firewall to turn them on.

Does anyone have details on this method?

I have mine attached to the fogs. This results in everytime the fogs come on, the driving lights do as well. I installed the kill switch as well so that I have the option of whether or not to have the driving lights on when I flip on the fogs. I've also coded my All4 so that I can run just the fogs and (optional) driving lights without the headlights. I like having the options.

I installed my driving lights and wired them into the park lights then swapped the spot light H3 bulbs for H3 LEDs. Now I can run my park lights+driving lights as dtrl and because I have auto head lights they also come on as welcome lights. With this set up when I have my headlights on it looks like a rally car with 6 lights on. Some guys on here are getting pretty excited about the new retro fit driving lights with LEDs(replace fog lights)which cost over $500, my set cost $170 shipped and I think it gives it that classic MINI look.

Actually hooked these up yesterday. Tapped right into the yellow wire of the fog light no problem. Only thing I noticed is that when I put the fogs/driving lights on now, the idle dips ever so slightly...not bad, but maybe by 100rpms.
