I'm interested in buying the r56 hood scoop. some people say it fits nice and some say it doesn't. what is your feedback to this? I don't mind making drilling but I want it to have the OEM fitment. Thanks in advance. Is this Peter posting by the way?

Hello 6000pounds! We are the new owner of M7 Tuning and Peter is no longer with the company. We have spent many tens of $1000's of dollars in new tooling and new molds for our scoops. There should be absolutely no problem with the fitment of our scoops. I can't comment on fitment problem in the past (it they did exist) under the previous ownership but I can tell you the ones we make now fit perfectly. Thanks!

Thank you very much for the quick response. I'll be looking to purchase one soon then. I'll miss Peter's accent in the M7 videos :(

Hey 6000pounds,

I see you have a 2013 model. I caution you of fitment issues with products from M7 on the newer gen. MINI's. I believe the new ownership hasn't done anything to tool up and/or make sure the products they inherited in inventory, fits your car. I know from personal experience that their Front Aero Splitter didn't fit my 2013-JCW. I'll be posting actual photos, written description and sketches under a separate post. With so many other proven vendors out there selling modified hood scope, I'd spend my money elsewhere.
