My CM Cooper SD All4

As I promised in my welcome post, here's a few pics of my CM.

It's a month old and my first ever brand new car. To be fair, it's not strictly mine as being an injured serviceman, I have it on the Goverment's Motability scheme. I've still got it for 3 years though so I'm making the most of it and mods are allowed as long as it can be returned to standard when I exchange it for a new one!

The spec is:

Mini Countryman Cooper SD All4 with CHILLI Pack

Exterior:

Absolute Black metallic with matching roof and mirrors
Colour Line Carbon Black trim
Anthracite 18" Turbofans

Interior:

Half leather Parallel - Pure Red interior
Anthracite Roof Lining
Interior World Carbon Black trim
5 seat configuration

Mechanical:

Sports Suspension

Right, here's the pics

Your MINI looks fantastic. Now about a few pics of the interior.

Beautiful! I still hold out a very small sliver of hope that we will have the Diesel in the US some day.

WTH? The steering well is on the wrong side! I don't want an SD if that is what it means.

Lol, I was going to say the same about all the other cars on this site, I bet you drive on the wrong side of the road as well don't you?

Well, 1200 miles came and went this week, so I have been able to try out the sports button for the first time. And I'm quite impressed! Only really used it for overtaking at the moment rather than a fully spirited drive but it really does feel like the car has been remapped instead of just having a sharper throttle.

To be honest, I was wondering where all the 143 horses were in the engine, but now I can feel them! It's finally feeling nice and torquey and it's quite addictive although I know economy will suffer! Speaking of which, now the engine has loosened up a touch, my mileage has increased to an indicated 50mpg average which I think is quite impressive for a heavy All4. Not as good as my old VW Bora TDi (Jetta mk4 for you guys) which could average up to 60 mpg but still better than I expected.

.
I've used the sport button since day one. You just have to watch the revs. I am just shy of 500 mi on mine.

Oh, and my wife has a new Jetta TDi, so I know what you mean. Great car.

That's very impressive restraint! It's not just me driving it but also my heavy footed wife, so I thought best to set the standard and follow the guidelines!
