17x8 ET35 wheels?

I am looking at a 17x8 et35 set of wheels. tossing a 205/40 on there. Would it fit on my 04 r53?

Using stock suspension it should fit.

Compared to stock 17x7" wheels, the 17x8" et35 will stick out by 13mm or 0.5" which is fine.

205/40-17 fits rims 7-8" wide, but it is not OEM sized and runs small on tire diameter at 23.5". Used with stock suspension will give a larger wheel gap.
If you roads are smooth and good then the 40 series sidewall will be OK but if you have potholes watch out.

A better choice for tire size is 205/45-17.

Yep

lol this is on my current wheels right now. I am lowered on some sort of springs. I bought the car and the previous owner had lowered it. I have no idea what the spec of the wheel is. I have yet to pull a wheel off to check to see if the offset is stamped on the inside of the wheel.

I am looking at a set of rota torques that are the listed specs so we will see how they look. I am currently cambered in slightly on all wheels I may have to adjust the camber a little more when i get these guys mounted. Does the car have stock adjustable camber plates/arms? I spent about 30 min looking around online trying to find how to adjust them if so with no luck.

I have had customers who have required a bit of fender trimming, or additional negative camber added .

Good to know. I am already cambered in. I may have to figure out how to adjust the camber on it a little further. Thanks for the info!
