Bringing your pets out with the GP
Bringing your pets out with the GP
Hi all,
We have a 2012 R58 Coupe S. We are considering getting a GP to replace the other car which is a Mazdaspeed 3 that we have....except, we'll run into an issue where we'll no longer have the backseat for our dog.
As a safety measure, we put a hardness on our dog and buckle it to the seatbelt fastener in the backseat. In the GP, we won't have the luxury to do that if we have two passengers. With a open trunk like in the GP, it might be dangerous for him to slide around as well.
So....how do you bring your companion out? Any ideas?
Cheers!

Plus, plenty of room for a giant comfy dog bed!
But yes, clipping in to the strut brace should work. The goal not to prevent sliding around (although a dog bed solves that), but to prevent them from becoming a projectile. So your harness plus a one to two foot leash tied to the strut brace should work well.
