I believe this to be a normal noise, I'm just curious as to what it is. With the engine off and cool (hasn't been driven in 3-4 hours) I was peering over the engine bay scoping out how to put in a FMIC and a noise, like something rotating, I think it came from the turbo area. It only lasts for maybe 1 second tops. I also believe that I have heard this before.

I know this is kind of vague, but anyone know what this is? Again it doesn't sound like a bad noise I think it's perfectly normal but I'm just curious.

 

The engine being cool aspect is what confuses me. I would say it's the oil returning from the turbo oil lines, but if the car's been off for 3-4 hours I doubt it's still cycling back. And as for the fmic, you take the front bumper off, pull the old intercooler off, and plug the new one in.
