Mini show how to camp in style...ON THE ROOF!

Similar to an April Fool's joke from a while back, this seems to be "real".

You should google the tents you can get for a Discovery. They have some multi-room/multi-story options!

Better hope your not a person that tosses and turns hard during the night. Rolling out of bed in that is going to hurt.

I don't think that roof tent would hold one average north american.

I have always thought it was a cool idea when I had my 99 JEEP Cherokee, but that was more for off road adventures. I personally wouldn't use one unless on a safari. Lol but it does look cool.

Kind of an interesting idea, poorly executed though. I doubt with the load rating it will ever see the light of day.

I have Thule aero blade bars on my CM and they have an 800 pound load rating. This is definitely possible. And there is another company that makes them:
Big Foot Tents
About $2600.
Surely somebody has done this by now considering all the press Mini has given the idea?
Pictures? Reviews?
