Hi, new to the forum. Bought our Countryman S back in 2011 and my wife has been driving it until now. We made a trade and now the Countryman is my daily driver, which means its time for a few modifications.

First thing I want to do is add a set of the driving lamps that mount in front of the grill. I have seen the OEM ones available online but don't really want to spend $400-500. Does anyone have experience using aftermarket lights?

From what I've seen so far I can get the brackets but may need to cut a hole in the grille to mount them. I'm guessing after that any lamps can be mounted to the brackets and wired up. Is there anything else I should know? Any suggestions on size or brand of lamp?
