02 R53 Inside Driver's side rear cabin panel repair
My teen-aged son has a friend who, as he was exiting the rear seat on my 02 R53 from the drivers side, used the cabin panel (I'm guessing that is what it is called) to get some leverage and pulled it off of the attachment brackets.
The brackets and the hooks look to be undamaged, but no amount of pushing, banging or nudging will enable the panel to reattach to these hooks.
Short of taking it to the dealer (80 miles round-trip), how can I accomplish this "on the cheap".
Any and all suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.

If it were only that simple. It's actually the entire interior panel that covers the wheel well that attaches to the interior of the car at the base of the rear driver's side window. If you were sitting in the back seat, it's on your left. I appreciate your effort though. :-)
Wow how did he manage that? IMO the best thing that you can do is to try and take off the whole panel check that all the clips are on the paneland replace the broken ones, buy a cheap panel popper. I think that when the panel came off some of the clips were left on the body but that is just my opinion, in fact trying to push it could brake some clips.
