Hi everyone,

I recently picked up a nicely used 02 Cooper and I was wondering when should I take it in for an oil change, fluid flush, etc.? No lights are on, but I wonder if I should wait for the On board dash to come on or should I take it in as a precaution? i feel like I'm waiting for something to happen, but I'm not looking forward to dealing with dealer service in Maryland. (I just hit 100k.)

Also can anyone in PG County MD or nearby recommend a good shop for service?

I was taking my '02 in for general maintenance at least every 6 months. It seemed to be a bit more susceptible to minor leaks than more recent R53s.
