Is this company still in business? I just got a back issue of GOMINI and there was an article on them. I have been dealing with their sister company - ABD - for VW stuff for several years and this is the first I heard of their Mini company but the website is not working and there is no mention of it on the ABD site.

Yeah....I musta been outta the loop for awhile too, cause I've been trying them for awhile now. Did their site move, change names, or did they just pack up? Anyone?
Cheerio,

I called them the other day. they said the site is down but they still have some of the parts available. They are primarily a VW tuner though. the VW1.8t they have is the local benchmark in Cali.

I used to have a GTI and got tons of stuff from them. They were good guys. They need to become a sponsor here!

I have dealt with them back in VW days as a consumer and now professionally as a vendor and spoke with them the other day about what was happening with their product line for the MINI. They have a nice intake and upper bar and a set of sway bars (I think the intercooler, wires and a few other items are private labeled), but I have only seen or heard of a handful of people with Monster MINI stuff. We were going to offer their stuff but the products didn't seem to offer anything unique enough to justify it....

anyways, the low down it this: apparently they had a trademark/name infirngment with some other company and they were forced to either change their name or let the line go. At the time I spoke to them they were not sure what they were going to do and that the products were still selling okay.

I would think that they could just market the products under the ABD name and do fine as the ABD name has come a long way in the last 10 years, they still kinda ride just below the Neuspeed name in the VW market...

just my thoughts...

I agree. ABD has an excellent reputation and there are several of us that are former VW people so the name recognition is there.
